Cool Applications that I had to have on my ITouch:
Kindle App: (free) I got it because for my summer semester, I purchased my book via Kindle; rather than hard copy. It's definitely a learning experience.
TwitterFon: (free) Love it...I keep up on my friends' tweets.
NYTimes: (free) I especially like the Tech News section.
Theme Clock (free): I use it for my alarm clock. I got an IPod Home (generic brand) for $15 at Wal-Mart this weekend. I let Meg use my alarm clock. Now, my new alarm clock rocks!
Bejeweled 2 ($2.99): I am addicted to this game. I had to buy it.
Coin Toss (free): I use it for class to designate who goes first!
Crack Code (free): fun little mind game. I probably will delete it pretty soon. It gets old after a while.
TextPlus (free): Who needs a cell phone when you have TextPlus? I can send and receive texts from my ITouch (for free!).
TodayShow (free): If I don't get to watch Merideth & Matt, I can catch up on what happened on my favorite morning news show.
Checkers (free): This game is tough. I like it a lot. It is good for my brain. I have only won twice! I have lost probably 100 times.
GeeWhizToDo (free): This is my newest find. I can write on my Touch and it will save it for me. I can make lists. I just got it yesterady. We'll see how I like it.
What? (free): This is the app I use to take attendance. It is kind of like a "Would you rather..." book. It's fun. The students seem to like it (It's better than saying, "here!")
Price Is Right ($.99) It was on sale this week. It is a pretty cool game. Lots of cool graphics and options. Lots of different games. Definitely worth the 99 cents.
Tic Tac Free (free): Probably the next app to go. I have enjoyed it (quite a bit), but I am getting too many "games" on it. I have definitely perfected my tic-tac-toe game though!
MapQuest (free): Good, but only works with Internet start-up. I have to remember before I leave home to download it. When I am in the car, it won't start unless I have already started it from a place with Internet.
Shazam (free): Recognizes songs you hear and saves them for you to remember to download them. You need a mic jack to record though. It sounds like a pretty cool idea though.
IHut (free): I can order pizza very easily.
Goosync (free): I can see what's on my Google calendar. I can add and delete from my Touch (Kaylynn...you'd like this.).
Facebook (free): a must have---if you're a facebooker. Lots of fun.
